Terms of use and sale

These terms govern the use of the CrackAndReveal service, published by EI Meidy BAFFOU (SIRET: 80473268300045), accessible at crackandreveal.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms in their entirety.

CrackAndReveal allows you to create interactive virtual locks protecting content (text or link). Creators share a link or QR code; participants solve the lock to access the content.

Registration is free and requires a valid email address or a Google account. Each person may only create one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

You agree to:

• Use the service in compliance with French law
• Not publish illegal, defamatory, hateful, violent or pornographic content
• Not attempt to bypass the service's security measures
• Not use automated scripts to test codes in bulk
• Not impersonate another person

Any violation may result in the suspension or deletion of your account without notice.

You retain ownership of the content you create and hide behind your locks. CrackAndReveal does not claim any ownership rights over this content. However, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit and display this content as part of the service's operation.

• Rate limiting: 100 verification attempts per minute and 1,000 per 10 minutes, per IP address and per lock
• The service is provided without any guarantee of availability. Interruptions may occur for maintenance.

CrackAndReveal offers a Free plan and two paid subscriptions: the Event Pass, billed monthly (€9 per month in the eurozone, $9 elsewhere), and Pro, billed yearly (€29 per year in the eurozone, $39 elsewhere). Prices include tax: in euros for customers in the eurozone, in US dollars for everyone else. Outside the eurozone and the United States, the amount may be converted into your local currency at checkout. What each plan includes is described on the Pricing page.

Payments are processed by Link, a Stripe service, acting as the official reseller (merchant of record): Link collects the payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) and issues your receipts and invoices. The charge appears on your statement as "LINK.COM* CRACKANDREVEAL". CrackAndReveal never receives or stores your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period: every month for the Event Pass, every year for Pro. Each renewal is charged automatically. You receive an email reminder at least 30 days before each yearly renewal. After a Pro renewal, you can cancel at any time and we refund the full months remaining.

You can cancel at any time, in one click, from Billing → "Manage my subscription", on link.com, or without logging in from the "Cancel a subscription" page (link at the bottom of every page): enter your account email address and the cancellation is recorded immediately and confirmed by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: you keep access until then, after which your account returns to the Free plan (your locks are kept, the watermark comes back and competitions are turned off). Apart from the 14-day guarantee and the yearly Pro renewal, a period that has started is not refunded. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription.

14-day money-back guarantee: wherever you live, you can ask for a full refund of an Event Pass or Pro subscription within 14 days of subscribing, with no questions asked and even if you have used the service, by writing to hello@crackandreveal.com. The subscription is then cancelled. This guarantee includes and goes beyond any statutory right of withdrawal.

"Lifetime Pro" purchases made before September 23, 2026 remain valid: the corresponding Pro access is kept, with no subscription and no renewal.

CrackAndReveal shall not be held liable for content published by users, nor for damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

CrackAndReveal is designed for games and entertainment. It should not be used to protect sensitive or confidential information.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Deletion results in the removal of all your locks, content and associated data. This action cannot be undone.

CrackAndReveal reserves the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France.
